These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Top Dog Secure Dog Walking Field. By booking with us—whether via our online system, social media, phone, or email—you agree to these terms and to follow all associated rules and guidelines.

Definitions

  • We/Us: Top Dog Field, Bird Grove Farm, Hilderstone, ST15 8SL
  • You: The individual, business, or organisation booking and using the field
  • Your Dog(s): Any dog(s) accompanying you to the field
  • The Field: The secure dog field at our address

1. Agreement to Terms

  • Booking with us forms a binding contract under these Terms and Conditions.
  • Terms may be updated; you must agree to them at each booking.
  • Legal jurisdiction: England and Wales.

2. Booking and Access

  • Booking is confirmed only upon full payment.
  • Each session lasts 50 minutes with a 10-minute buffer.
  • Arrive and leave on time.
  • Access limited to the booking party and their dog(s).
  • Additional dogs or guests need prior approval.
  • Park just beyond the double mesh gates on the left.
  • Gates open outward—approach with care.
  • You’ll receive a 4-digit padlock code 12 hours before your booking.
  • Remain in your car until the previous user exits and secures the gate.
  • Dogs must be on leads outside the field.

3. Cancellations & Changes

  • Cancel or reschedule up to 48 hours before your session.
  • Use our booking system or email to cancel.
  • Refunds (via Stripe) issued within 7 days. No refunds for no-shows.
  • Sessions cannot be extended.
  • We may cancel due to weather or other issues—reschedule or refund will be offered.

4. Use of the Field

  • Maximum 4 dogs per session.
  • Field use is at your own risk.
  • No digging or damaging infrastructure.
  • Prohibited: Dangerous toys or balls. Left-behind items will be disposed of.
  • Minimise noise; respect neighbours and wildlife.
  • Children must be supervised. No climbing on equipment.
  • Clean up after dogs; use bin or take waste home.

5. Health and Safety

  • Dogs must be vaccinated ,Proof may be requested.
  • No ill or sick dogs allowed.
  • Bitches in season may attend.
  • Water available—bring your own bowl.
  • No smoking, vaping, alcohol, or human food (unless required for health reasons).
  • Vaping is strictly prohibited.

6. Dog Control & Supervision

  • Keep dogs under control at all times.
  • Prevent digging or equipment damage.
  • Equipment is for dogs only—must be fit and experienced.
  • Do not sit or climb on equipment.
  • Avoid using equipment if wet or icy.

7. Owner Conduct

  • Show respect to all users, dogs, and staff.
  • No aggression, loud behaviour, or use of aversive methods.

8. Security and Privacy

  • Field is fully fenced (1.8m) with 50mm x 100mm mesh.
  • Gates are also 1.8m high.
  • CCTV monitors the car park and retains footage for 7 days.
  • Request footage within this timeframe.

9. Liability

  • Use the field at your own risk.
  • We’re not liable for injury, death, or damage/loss.
  • You must have third-party liability insurance (check pet/household cover or Dogs Trust).

  • Field may contain natural hazards.
  • Toxic plants are removed where possible, but the environment is not sterile.

  • We’re not liable for dogs escaping.
  • Vehicles are parked at owner’s risk.
  • Damage by your dog(s) may result in repair charges.
  • We may refuse access or cancel bookings at our discretion.

10. Declaration

By booking, you confirm:

  • You’ve read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
  • Your dog(s) are healthy and vaccinated.
  • You will not use aversive training methods.
  • You’ll wait until the field is clear before entering.
  • You’ll leave promptly at the end of your session.
  • You take full responsibility for yourself, guests, and your dog(s).
  • You will stay within designated areas.
  • You’ll leave the field clean and undamaged.
