My name is Lucy, and I have worked with dogs for over 30 years. Along with my Husband we are lucky enough to own the ‘Top Dog Field’ which is part of our farm at Hilderstone.
As a multi-dog owner, I have seen firsthand the growing demand for secure and dedicated dog facilities. The need for such spaces has increased significantly in recent years due to various factors:
- The challenges of park walking, including dealing with the politics of shared
spaces. - The presence of rescue dogs, who may be nervous or untrained.
- Elderly dogs, as well as those who are deaf or blind, requiring special care.
- Show dogs with specific needs.
- The implications of the Dangerous Dogs Act.
Walking your dog off-lead should be a relaxing experience, but even well-trained dogs can be unpredictable. That’s why we’ve created Top Dog Field, a safe and secure facility designed to meet the needs of our community.
Our mission is to provide a much-needed space for training and exercising your dog, allowing you to relax and enjoy off-lead time in a secure environment. At Top Dog Field, we offer exclusive and private 50-minute sessions to ensure there is no crossover of customers. With only one field on site, you never have to worry about bumping into others.
We aim to make your time at Top Dog Field as relaxing and enjoyable as possible, providing a safe haven for you and your furry friends.
